We are a service, which provides crèches within Maryhill/surrounding areas. We provide fun, play opportunities for children while their parents/carers are attending various groups e.g. Community Education classes, parent support groups, Housing Association meetings etc. Children can attend from 0-16yrs. Some crèches charge a small fee per child, which helps towards new toys/food for snacks.
Our Respite Service has been running for over 6 years now with 4 sessions per week running from two different venues. There are provisions for 6 children age birth up to three years at each session. We work with families who have been referred to our service through health visitors, social work etc.
We are opening an outdoor nursery within the North West area of Glasgow. Children will spent the majority of their time outside with an indoor base for dropping off and collecting children each day. The outdoor nursery will promote outdoor learning with a Forest School approach allowing children to explore nature as they learn.
We aim to provide good quality childcare, through a team of highly skilled childcare workers, for children from birth to 16 years, which enables groups and parents/carers within the boundaries of Maryhill and the surrounding areas to participate fully in all aspects of community life.
In partnership with these groups and parents, carers, we will actively promote opportunities for personal achievement to develop each child’s capacity as successful learners, a confident individual, a responsible citizen and an effective contributor within their own community and to society at large.
